Admin problem or systems problem? They're not the same thing.
If you've ever told yourself "I just need to be more organised," I don't think that's actually true. Not for everyone, anyway.
There's a difference between an admin problem and a systems problem, and most people never separate the two.
An admin problem is simple: you've got the right tools, you're just behind on using them. The fix is more hours, better habits, maybe some help. Fine.
A systems problem is different. You're doing everything right, putting in the time, staying on top of it, and you're still copying the same booking into three places, or checking two systems that should just talk to each other. Working harder doesn't fix that. The tools are the problem, not you.
Quick way to tell which one you've got: if working harder would actually solve it, it's admin. If working harder just means doing the broken thing faster, it's a systems problem.
I spent 10 years fixing exactly this for companies like Meta and Twilio, and small businesses have the same issue, just nobody's ever had the time to sit down and look at it properly.
If that sounds familiar, it's worth someone taking a look.
